Child-Led Dramatic Play: Preschool Book Store

A new book store opened in Seedlings-ville this week.  I was super-excited, I've always said one thing we were lacking around here was a decent book store.

The chap who runs the place is a decent guy.  He opens and closes the store a few times a day, which can get confusing and I did hear a customer lodge a complaint, "I'm not shopping at this book store anymore, the hours are CRAZY!!"  But overall, it seems business is good.

You won't find a book store like this anywhere else.  You can browse for as long as you want, the shopkeeper will assist you in finding what you need if you have a special request and you rarely need money to purchase the books, though if you have some, feel free to use it.

When you're done reading your selections, you can bring them back and buy some more, the store is always well-stocked and well-organized.  Customers are clamoring to be the first to checkout - they just can't wait to get started reading those new books!

Speaking of the checkout process, this store seems to have invested in the latest bar code scanner technology.  A quick swipe under the counter, a little beep and you're done!

I bought two books earlier this week and I'm really hoping the store will be open again soon, I've had my eye on this one for a while.

Happy reading!
